Relay for LIfe

This year I am participating in the Relay for Life in Gilbert, AZ. This event is put on by the American Cancer Society to raise money for cancer research. As you know I lost my brother on Nov 1, 2008 to cancer. This devastating illness has taken him from us. There needs to be further research so that others do not have to suffer.

The Relay For Life is where people who have lost family members to cancer or have survivors of cancer get together and walk/run all night to raise money to find a cure for cancer. Its all night because Cancer never sleeps! They do a wonderful program to honor those who have lost the fight to cancer.



Cancer touches all of us. I don't know anyone who hasn't been affected in some form or another.
